KANDAHAR AIRFIELD, Afghanistan — Bulldogs can be very intelligent and determined creatures. Angela May, administrative support specialist in the South District's personnel office, is cited as a "steady, intelligent, determined and confident individual," which is why she was selected as this week's Bulldog of the Week.
"She is an example of an invaluable employee," said Navy Cmdr. Halleck Mohler, South District adjutant. "She routinely completes any and all tasks with the utmost of professionalism and commitment to excellence. No task is too hard for she has the internal fortitude to tackle anything to its completion."
Mohler said May has picked up tasks in addition to her mail handling and housing assignment manager duties during other employees' absences with "absolutely no degradation of services" and is learning and helping out with every other personnel division office function.
"Angela sets high standards for herself and for others to emulate," said Air Force Col. Benjamin Wham, South District commander. "She has never hesitated to learn about or take on new tasks. We're very fortunate to have employees like her in the South District."
May deployed to the South District from the New Orleans District.
